Memorial Scholarships

Javier and Sara Leon both worked with and mentored hundreds of students while employees of Durham Unified School District.  Sara served as a bi-lingual paraeducator and Javier was a custodian.  This scholarship is for students graduating from Durham High School and who have a home or primary language other than English.

Charlie is known to many Durham High School staff as one who demonstrated a commitment to personal achievement and overcoming many challenges in his lifetime.
