Durham Friends of the Library: Our mission is to support the activities of the Butte County Library, Durham Branch, by providing funds and volunteers to support library programming and activities. Currently we help provide the Tuesday Crafternoon program, purchase new release DVD’s and magazines for check-out, and provide funds for new release book purchasing, not covered by county funds. Our main fundraisers are book sales (currently on hold because of the Pandemic), the annual fundraising drive from Durham Community Foundation, and our continuing fundraiser with smile.amazon.com. Membership is open to all.
