A joyous celebration of the strong and thriving disabled community in the Triangle commemorating the anniversary of the signing of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) on July 26th, 1990.

Meek Squad

Meek Squad is formed by Suvya Carroll, Sloan Meek and Lee Anderson.

Three friends who met at Reality Ministries and who forged their friendships through their shared love of Music. They just recorded their second album and have been practicing and performing extensively at local churches, community events, and private retreats.

The Parade

The Parade participants will gather at the Reality Ministries parking lot. We will travel from Lamond to Gregson St. Up Gregson to Main St., down Main to Morgan St., Albemarle and return to Reality Ministries.

This is a walking/rolling parade only. No vehicles or floats. Costumes, posters, banners, and noisemakers are welcome!

The parade festivities will be in the Reality Ministries parking lot. There will be 23 organizations with information tables.

We are celebrating our Triangle businesses that employ people with disabilities, and food and refreshments will be available from B3 Coffee, 321 Coffee, the Reality Cafe, and Food Vibez Way.

In the Reality Center, you can find bathrooms, a Family bathroom with an adult changing area, a First Aid Station, a Cool off room, and a Low Sensory Room.
