The first Suit in our deck is the Spades. The Spades are made up of some of our most mathematically intelligent students. The Spades tend to lean towards the rule and order, though that does not mean that every Spade will follow the Rules entirely, they are just smarter when it comes to bending rules. The Spades have an air of confidence to them that isn't always found in the other Suits. Categories the Spades tend to major in include Business and economics; Health and life sciences; and Math, chemistry, and physics.
What makes a Spade?
Spades tend to be more cutthroat than their competing Suits, which can make them seem standoff-ish. It is rare to see a Spade greet someone with open arms. Spades are rarely seen off task and are usually determined to finish one thing before moving on to the next. They lack a scattered brain and have a sense of clarity. The Spades are made up of Pessimistic-Realists that strive for what they can achieve, though this isn't to say that they underachieve. The Spades tend to push themselves to their limit and not go any further. Typically they are composed, organized, and level-headed people.
The Spades are the most notorious for winning the Suit Cup at the end of each year. Often they are described as the silent but deadly champions as they typically sneak up on their competition and take them by surprise. The Spades have a total of 12 Suit Cups won and the highest GPA at Dupont.
