We have been nominated!
After being awarded for "Most Improved Society" last year for the FaME awards, we are pleased to announce that this year we have been nominated for three, yes you read that right, THREE FaME awards!
We have been nominated for the following:
"Innovation in medical teaching" - for our website with it's extensive library of teaching resources including our SMOdules.
"Best Student Society Event" - for our Conference "Medicine in Motion" in 2020 which was a huge success with over 100 students from across Scotland attending!
"Best Overall Society" - this is a testament to all the events we have put on over the past year including our series of trauma modules, anatomy teaching sessions, our hugely successful lockdown fitness week and various career talks from surgeons and sports med consultants from as far afield as New Zealand!
Thank you all for all your support over the past year, we've really enjoyed putting all these events on for you.

We are absolutely thrilled to have been awarded our very first FAME award! Our wonderful committee have worked very hard over the past couple of years to organise a range of different events, including our recent national undergraduate conference ‘Medicine in Motion’. We’re so excited to work together with our new members as we continue planning for the year ahead. Thank you so much to the FAME committee and to everyone who voted for us!
