These covered some of the fundamental concepts in a variety of trauma management scenarios: including prehospital assessment, head & spinal injury and airway management. Each session was run by a specialist in either orthopaedics, anaesthetics or emergency medicine.
On the 29th February, we held our inaugural conference "Medicine in Motion" in Ninewells Hospital and Medical School.
This conference was an amalgamation of a number of musculoskeletal specialities: including Orthopaedics, Sports and Exercise Medicine, and Rheumatology. Through this event we aimed to educate about the career opportunities available in MSK medicine as well as providing some exciting and hands on practical teaching sessions!
There was also an opportunity for students to showcase their research in a poster competition for which prizes were awarded.
