Savannah is a Tobiano, which is one of the most recognized pinto color patterns. The patches of color are usually distinct and smooth, often appearing in circular or oval shapes. Usually all four legs are white, and the head is colored. The mane and tail are often bi-colored. Tobianos often have white that crosses the back. It is caused by a dominant gene, and so Tobiano ponies and be either homozygous or heterozygous. If the gene is present it will be expressed, although the amount of white can vary from pony to pony.
Savannah also has two blue eyes. Though blue eyes are not common, they do exist. Ponies can have two blue eyes or a blue one and a brown one, which is called heterochromia. Basically, it's the lack of pigmentation in the eye which causes it to appear blue. Although the genetics behind the eyewall of the pony are unknown, there are several breeds of horses and ponies with registered stock blue eyes. Pintos and some Welsh have a gene that often results in blue eyes.
Savannah is a very sweet girl and gentle mare, always interested in what you are doing. She is one of the first to respond to a whistle and come up to greet you.
