Carmen, a Spanish expatriate, from Barcelona, has worked for a large multi property hotel chain most of her life as a chief financial officer. She has lived in Cabarete for 20+ years. She is a well respected veteran business woman in our small community.
Eric, a Belgian expatriate, from Antwerp, fell in love with Cabarete in the early 80's and made it home. Eric was an active adrenaline addict and equipment designer/ developer for most of his life, now retired and licking his wounds. A jack off all trades ready to fix whatever breaks. Eric was recognized by the DR government with a, "Honorable Ambassador" title for his efforts promoting water sports in Cabarete.
