For students transferring AMES literature & culture courses from study abroad programs, please note that the AMES DUS needs to review a course syllabus that has detailed assessment criteria as well as required readings for each week. Please provide a reading list that shows what reading materials are required for each week.
For example,
Week 1: Author 1, Year 1, Paper Title
Week 2: Author 2 , Year 2, Book Chapter Title
Week 3: Author 3, Year 3, Paper Title
If your current syllabus does not have the above information, please request a comprehensive course syllabus from the course instructor.
Just FYI. Below are GEO's instructions:
You must upload the most current and complete syllabus available, which must include details such as instructor information, required reading, and assignments and assessment. Not doing so will delay the response to your course approval request. Departments will not review requests without a full syllabus.
