Practical Information

How to reach us:

The course will take place at Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Campus Nord, Building D2, Room D2-216 (second floor), 08034 Barcelona.

Course MATERIAL & SOFTWARE:

Material for the numerical sessions will be available at:

The username and password to access the material will be provided by email to the participants.

Please remember to bring your own laptop for the practical sessions.

All activities will be carried out on Windows OS. Linux may also be used by participants who are already familiar with the operating system and comfortable working with it independently.

Please make sure that the following software is installed on your laptop before the course:

• ParaView v5.12: http://www.paraview.org/

• Notepad++: http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

• FreeCAD v1.1.4: https://www.freecad.org/downloads.php

• MATLAB or Python: at least one of these two environments is required for the practical exercises and post-processing activities.
