The Design Thinking for Social Innovation course significantly shaped my perspective on addressing societal issues through structured creativity. By emphasizing empathy and human-centered design, the course helped me realize the importance of listening to and understanding people’s experiences before proposing solutions. The process of experimenting, testing, and improving ideas strengthened my ability to learn from mistakes and adapt effectively. Collaborative activities demonstrated how varied viewpoints contribute to stronger outcomes and better decision-making. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Deepa ma’am for her continuous encouragement, valuable insights, and mentorship, which played a vital role in enriching my learning journey and motivating me toward impactful social innovation.
