Hi, I’m Vashti! I am a proud graduate of Florida A&M University where I earned my BA in English and worked as a writing consultant. I geek out about folk music and fairytales. I wrote my first collegiate essay on my favorite outlaw ballad and ever since, I’ve been presenting my research at conferences and in museums.  I am well versed with MLA, APA and Chicago formats and especially love helping with professional or creative writing. Everyone has their own writing process and style. Whether you are brainstorming research ideas, polishing a draft or fixing up your formatting, I want to help you present your unique ideas.

Hello, I’m Natalia! I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BA in English Literature. At UCF, I took a special interest in Latino and Women’s Literature, but during my free time, I enjoy reading fantasy novels. Outside of school, I like discovering new places and things to do here in Orlando. I especially enjoy visiting museums and gardens. Previously, I worked as a daycare teacher teaching children new skills through fun and creative activities. I am someone who values self-expression so if you are looking to brainstorm ideas for an essay, I would love to help you find a unique and creative topic to write about. Hi! My name is Nicholas. I earned my BA and MA in Literature from the University of Central Florida, and I am currently in the process of finishing my PhD in Literature at the University of South Florida. In addition to working here at the Writing Center, I also teach Composition for Valencia, and I teach Composition, Literature, and Technical Writing at USF! I am familiar with multiple different citation styles, including MLA, APA, and Chicago. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching anime, and sewing patches onto my pants!
