Organizers

The Organizers of this site believe that everyone is able to realize their college dreams. They may just need help getting there. Here, we connect DSST High School students with DSST Alumni so they can get useful and relatable advice. Below you will see the Organizers of this site, starting with Daniel and Sergio, we hope to pass down this site to future high school students so that DSST can continue to cultivate a culture where every student is prepared for college.

Daniel Tochimani-Hernandez

Coming to the US was difficult as I struggled to learn English. But as I strengthen myself through earnest discussions with teachers and reading Calvin & Hobbes I found my passion for education! DSST faculty helped shape my character and desire to pursue economics to help strengthen the healthcare system in the US.

Sergio Delgado

My dad was born in Puerto Rico and my mom was born in Japan and I have visited both places. There I was shocked about how different the cultures were from here in Denver, Colorado. Through these experiences I became interested on the profound impact culture can have on a person's behavior. This website is a step in propagating a strong culture of connection between DSST Alumni and current DSST Students.
