Bio:Robert graduated DSST in 2018 and started his college career at the University of Colorado Denver as an economics major. After his freshmen year, Robert transferred to the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles as an Economics and Mathematics major. Though most of his time at USC was online due to the global pandemic, it was always his dream to attend USC as he is a legacy.Robert was born with albinism, which means he had white pale skin and blond hair, which is uncommon among people of Japanese ancestry. Albinism also affected his vison, making him visually impaired. However, this obstacle offered Robert the opportunity of competing at the Paralympic Games.
Robert started Judo at the age of 5. During his time at DSST and the first 3 years of college, Robert was a part of Team USA for Judo. In 2021, Robert competed in the Tokyo 2020NE Paralympic games, representing the USA in the -66kg category for Judo. Besides Judo, Robert enjoys weightlifting, soccer, and playing taiko (the Japanese drums).

I work as a Learning Assistant and in a research lab. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies and TV shows, doing Martial Arts, CrossFit, and tutoring people. Bio: Hello! I'm a current student at Dartmouth College studying Geographical systems in relation to the environment (specifically resource management and regenerative systems). I'm interested in the intersectionality between global health and the environment. I analyze food systems and agricultural methods to emphasize biodiversity within given spaces. I also advocate for a developing sense of autonomy and sovereignty within marginalized communities through food and environmental accessibility. Bio: I’m a first gen Latino student at MSU Denver and am learning to be a commercial pilot. I was a terrible student in highschool barely passing with C’s and summer school ¾ years. But now have straight A’s in college. I know how tough it can be. I take classes and fly 2-3 times a week with ground school when I can.
