Uniformed Patrol Division

The Uniformed Patrol Division of Los Santos County Sheriff's Office is the Largest Division of the Sheriffs Office totaling up to 85 percent of the Departments employees. These men and women are the front lines of the Sheriffs Office, and the faces that the public see everyday. These Deputies answer the everyday normal 911 calls that Dispatch receives, these calls and range from welfare checks, domestic disputes, vehicle collisions, and many other calls for service.

All Patrol Deputies vehicles are outfitted with everything that is needed to perform their daily task and duties. This includes marked patrol vehicles, mounted lightbars or installed visor-lights, front and rear radar speed detection.

Patrol deputies can perform traffic stops as well as respond to calls that they are dispatched to. All Patrol Deputies wear the standard issue dark green uniform, they are not required to wear head gear but a western style cowboy hat or a Ball Cap of their choice.

Patrol Deputies are Standard issue duty belts with tasers and radios. Deputies are also Issued a ballistics vest, this vest has standard issue armor.
