Quarter Two Recap

Quarter Two came to a close almost two weeks ago, and we saw lots of exciting races and movement in the points standings!

Across the six races, spanning from January 2nd to February 6th, we saw our first permanent road course, the longest race of the year on the only tri-oval, and a Superspeedway. The birds were very challenged in this three race stretch and it definitely shook up the points race. 

In the Energizer Series we have seen three different winners on three very different tracks, and the points have been even tighter with 7 points separating the top 5! Blue & Grey sits at the top tied for first with Orange & Cream. In the independent scene Purple & Red has been doing well with two top tens! Blue & Tan got his first career win at Duckville Superspeedway after a pass on the last lap! 2x Blue has continued his struggles and sits second last in the points, with Lime sitting at the bottom with 16 points. 

In the Main Series Blue has been on top with two wins back to back after Red got the first win of Quarter Two! Blue continues to lead the points as of now. Light Green still sits at the bottom of the points.

On February 13/14 we saw the seventh All Star Race! 87 Birds entered but Orange & Cream was able to finish second in his heat, and ended up winning the Main Race!

The Hotsy Junior Series started this quarter and Purple has swept every race! It’s been close racing but no one has been able to fend off Purple for the lead!

Quarter Three has the first dirt track of the season and the first short track! Points are close around all series so it’s gonna be exciting!
