Article 1
These regulations regulate the implementation of the anniversary days and holidays of the Democratic Republic of Besiktas.
Article 2 (Anniversary)
The anniversary dates of the Besiktas Democratic Republic are as follows:
New Year’s Day (January 1): The whole country hangs the national flag, holds celebrations, and has a one-day holiday.
Father of the Nation’s Birthday (February 3): The whole country hoists the national flag, holds commemorative activities, and has a one-day holiday.
Abolition of the Province Day (May 25): Relevant agencies and groups will hold commemorative activities, and there will be no holiday.
Name Change Anniversary Day (June 5): Relevant agencies and groups will hold commemorative activities, and there will be no holiday.
Flag Changing Day (July 26): The national flag is hoisted, commemorative activities are held, and there is a one-day holiday.
Guimao Memorial Day (June 23): Memorial activities are held across the country and there is a 3-day holiday (June 20 to June 23).
Renyin Memorial Day (October 5): Commemorative activities are held across the country and there is a one-day holiday.
National Founding Day (December 22): The whole country flies the national flag, holds celebrations, and has a 14-day holiday (December 16 to December 29).
Article 3 (Folk Festivals)
The folk festivals of the Belarusian Democratic Republic are as follows, and all of them must be observed as holidays:
Spring Festival holiday: from the day before New Year's Eve to Spring Festival holiday, depending on the situation.
Dragon Boat Festival (the fifth day of the fifth lunar month): 1 day off.
Mid-Autumn Festival (August 15th of the lunar calendar): 1 day off.
Article 4 (Social holidays)
The following social holidays are celebrated by the government, institutions, groups, and schools and are observed as holidays in accordance with regulations:
Children's Day (June 6): 3-day holiday (6/6 to 6/8).
Mother's Day (June 6): 3 days off (6/6 to 6/8).
Father's Day (June 6): 3 days off (6/6 to 6/8).
Grandparents Day (June 6): 3 days off (6/6 to 6/8).
Labor Day (July 15): 1 day off for workers only.
Article 5 (Compensatory leave regulations)
If an anniversary or festival falls on a regular holiday, a make-up day should be granted:
If a statutory holiday falls on a Saturday, it will be compensated on the previous working day.
If a statutory holiday falls on Sunday, it will be compensated as a holiday on the next working day.
If the Spring Festival holiday and the National Day holiday fall on a regular holiday, they will be compensated on the next working day.
Article 6 (Special Holidays)
Any special commemorative days or holidays not listed in these regulations, if they are of great significance, may be announced and implemented after consultation with relevant government agencies.
