Dr. Vinitkumar Jayaprakash Dongre is working as Dean Research & Development, Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Department, at Thakur Collage of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous Institute Affilated to University of Mumbai), Kandivli, Mumbai.

A patent is granted to him title “A method for frequently Reconfiguration by helical antenna loaded in a pentagonal cavity and antenna thereof” by Indian patent office. He has filed total 6 Patents with Indian patent office. He has published 45 papers in national, international conferences and journals. He is recognition as a Ph.D. guide in University of Mumbai for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and guiding 3 Ph. D. research scholar. He has guided 16 M.E. projects.

  • Participated and won first rank overall championship for University of Mumbai in “AVISHKAR-2011” the state level Inter-University Research Convention at Shivaji University, Kolhapur in January 2012.


He is working as technical advisor for industry. He has organized five conferences and coordinated 24 Sort Term Training Programs and workshops at TCET.

He has worked as editor and reviewer for IEEE International Conferences in India, Malaysia and Indonesia. He has given the talks on Intellectual Property Rights, Antenna and Microwave Designing Aspects, Research Methodology, Formulating Effective Research, Enhancing Quality through NBA to Achieve Sustainability and Employability and Stress Management.

He has achieved awards for best actor, director in Marathi, Hindi and English dramas also fond of Indian classical music and playing flute.
