Drum Filter
RDF
The Rotary Drum Filter (RDF) stands as a reliable mechanical filtration method, proficient in effectively separating solid particles and suspended substances (including feces, food waste, and other organic pollutants) larger than 50 micrometers from water.
Ideal for implementation in aquaculture, aquaponic systems, koi ponds, large aquariums, and fish or seafood farms!
Additional information about the filter and its advantages:
Water Supply: Water is supplied to the filter either by gravity flow or with the help of a pump.
Filtration: Inside the drum, there is a stainless steel mesh with 50-micron-sized holes. This mesh traps solid particles and other contaminants from the water.
Cleaning: Cleaning is done automatically by rotating the drum and rinsing the water. As a result, all the dirt ends up in the drain tray and is removed automatically.
UV Treatment: Ultraviolet light cleans the mesh from algae growth, eliminating the need for replacement and cleaning.
Cyclic Process: This process is repeated periodically, ensuring continuous water purification in the pond. Thus, the drum filter provides excellent water quality and a healthy environment for fish and other aquatic organisms.
Smart System: The system prevents water overflow from the filter; a smart sensor activates the system for intensified water purification.
Emergency System: In case of power outage, the filter continues to operate until power is restored.
Features
The design of the filter is made of durable polypropylene plastic, making the structure strong and durable.
The design of the housing is made in the form of an oval; in such a housing there are almost no stagnant zones and dirt does not accumulate; it is also an easy way to clean the inside of the filter housing.
The debris removal tray, a larger open design with a slanted surface, makes it easier to push fish scraps, leaves and other large debris out of the filter.
The silicone seal is simple and provides an excellent seal and is also UV resistant
The filter cover provides a good seal, is easy to remove and reduces noise from the filter during operation.
The filter can work automatically, turning on when the mesh is dirty and turning off when clean. The filter is also activated in manual mode.
The honeycomb shape of the drum ensures a rigid structure with less weight (easy to rotate) and good mesh cleaning.
The filter chambers for water inlet and outlet are open and you can monitor the level of pollution, purified water and the presence of debris and leaves in the filter.
Optimally designed to provide maximum submerged drum surface area and maximum flow in the smallest possible installation space.
The drum filter can be installed to supply water through a pump or to supply water by gravity. Works equally well.
Special water-saving stainless steel nozzles provide high water pressure and high water penetration, helping to keep the screen clean.
The filter is equipped with an emergency overflow system; in the event of an accident, water will continue to flow through special holes without overflowing the filter
The control box adopts a simple structure, which makes it easy to use, stable and durable, and easy to maintain.
If any part fails, we simply send you a new one and you change it very simply according to the instructions from our service center.
Filtration system products
Applying filtration system
Drum filters and biofilters are installed in places for water purification. For example, pet ponds for people who have pet fish, such as Koi carp. Filtration systems are always installed on farms for growing aquatic organisms both in fresh water and in salt water; an ultraviolet lamp is installed in the filters, which allows you to extend the life of the mesh for a very long time. They also install filters on aquaponics and hydroponics farms, which makes the life of the farm owner very easy. Filters are installed to clean a home pool or pools for public use.
We produce the construction of our models and custom projects at the request of the customer.
