My grandfather, James Woods was an amazing man. He loved his family and farming. Nobody would ever know that he struggled with alcohol addiction. He tried to quit many times however his body could not handle the withdrawal. It destroyed his kidney and liver to the point that he needed to get transplants. He desperately waited on the transplant list. Once he finally got his surgery, he recovered and was doing great. Eventually, the old tendency's came back and was once again addicted. The transplant was a miracle and gave him 3 extra years of life.
