While AI can assist with initial tasks like drafting lesson plans or grading rubrics, human educators must ultimately refine, approve, and take responsibility for any AI-generated materials before they reach students. School leaders play a crucial role in monitoring this integration by ensuring teachers align AI-assisted materials with state standards, ethical practices, and the diverse learning needs of all students. Furthermore, promoting transparency about AI use fosters trust and critical thinking in students, and existing teacher evaluation frameworks can be used to assess how effectively educators supervise and adapt these tools.
