Mechanism of action: increase uveoscleral outflow

options: latanoprost, travoprost, bimatoprost, tafluprost

dosing: once daily dosing at night especially 8:00 0 clock

side effects

1. conjunctival  hyperemia

2. lengthening of eye lashes

3. iris hyperpigmentation

4. perioperative use during cataract surgery may cause cystoid macular edema

5. use with caution in inflammed eyes

6. promotion of herpetic keratitis

7. headache migraine
