Treatment

Topical broad spectrum antibiotics eye drops

Topical antibiotic ointment

lid hygiene

Eye should not be bandaged as it prevent free exit of secretions and promote bacterial growth

In case of photophobia dark glasses should be worn

Prophylaxis

keep patient isolated

Patient should not touch his face 

Patient should not shake hand with others

Towels soap should not be shared
