Ø  Awarded a Gold medal in MSc. (Statistics) for securing first position at Patna University, Patna, Bihar, India.

Ø  Awarded a Gold medal in MPhil. (Population studies) for securing the first position at the International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai, India. 

Ø  Awarded Prof. K.B. Pathak Award for an outstanding published paper entitled “Caste Differentials in Death Clustering in Central and Eastern Indian States” at the 39th Annual Conference of IASP held at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh (2018).

Ø  Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) for lectureship in Population Studies, conducted by University Grants Commission, 2013, New Delhi, India.

Ø  Awarded Government of India Fellowship for pursuing Master of Population Studies (MPS) Programme at International Institute for Population Sciences, Deonar, and Mumbai, India, 2012-13.

Ø  Awarded Government of India Fellowship for pursuing M.Phil. (Population Studies) at the International Institute for Population Sciences, Deonar, Mumbai, India, 2013-14.

Ø  Awarded Government of India Fellowship for pursuing PhD (Population Studies) at the International Institute for Population Sciences, Deonar, Mumbai, India, 2015-2019.

Ø  Awarded IASc-INSA-NASI-Focus Area Science Technology Summer Fellowship [FAST-SF]-2025 in Mathematics from Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi for the duration of two months from 15th May to 10th of July 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Mallikarjun Rao, Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, Indian Institute of technology (IIT), Mumbai.

Ø  Awarded with a grant of Rs 41000 as a Financial assistance from the Directorate of Science and Technology, Government of Mizoram for sponsoring a Seminar on “Career Opportunities in Statistics” for the year 2025-2026 in the Department of Statistics, Pachhunga University College, Aizawl, Mizoram, India.

Ø  Invited and engaged as visiting faculty on honorarium basis to teach a common paper “Biostatistics and Research Methodology” to Post Graduate students for Even Semester 2024 (January to June 2024) at Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences (RIPANS), Aizawl Mizoram.
