My name is Dr. Malabika Sarker. I am an educator, a researcher and  a consultant.

I received my Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Granada in Spain through a fellowship from the Ministry of External Affairs in Spain. My thesis was about the role of activated PKC on apoptosis in human leukemic and breast cancer cell lines. I obtained my M.Sc. in Biotechnology (1st class 2nd) from Banaras Hindu University and my B.Sc. in Chemistry Hons (1st class) from Calcutta University. 

I  worked in several research projects in National Institute of Health (USA), Institute of Bioinformatics (India) and SRI International (USA). I have more than 10 years of experience in scientific discovery, publications, literature review, biological databases, and data analysis. I published 16 peer-reviewed journal articles and 2 book chapters. 

I have teaching certification in the state of Texas for Biology (7-12) and Chemistry (7-12), an IBDP certification in Environmental Systems and Societies and a Virtual Teacher Specialization certification from the University of California, Irvine. I am a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator. I worked as a teacher in public, private international (IB) and online school. I taught Math, Sciences, and Spanish. I was a summer SME in Biochemistry for South College Online. 

I am a certified associate in project management (CAPM) from PMI. I am Google Analytics certified and have certificate of completion in Business Analytics from Harvard Business School Online. I have passion in creating data dashboards in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and Google Data Studio.
