I received my Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Granada in Spain through a fellowship from the Ministry of External Affairs in Spain. My thesis was about the role of activated PKC on apoptosis in human leukemic and breast cancer cell lines. I obtained my M.Sc. in Biotechnology (1st class 2nd) from Banaras Hindu University and my B.Sc. in Chemistry Hons (1st class) from Calcutta University.

I have more than 10 years of experience in scientific discovery, publications, literature review, biological databases, and data analysis. I published 16 peer-reviewed journal articles and 2 book chapters.

I was a summer SME in Biochemistry for South College Online.
