As a leader, I realize that I have greater a greater impact in listening than speaking. It's when we stop talking and truly listen, that deep learning can take place.
It's through that feedback, I learn the true value of the investment in student success--the return on educational engagement (ROEE). As a leader and educator, I learn where others need others need help, and where I can stand in the gap. This reinforces the importance of listening and giving to students and the teachers who support them.
