This conceptual model presents my development of a steward leadership theory model. Using the audio component, I walk the listener through the process of how this model is based formed to work toward answering personal, practical, and intellectual goals. Listening to the recording allows the ideas to begin to be understood. The grouping of themes found in literature led me to a recognition that this idea may be bigger than I originally anticipated in terms of its impact on leading. I discuss the potential of a paradigm shift that transcends into several areas, including the delivery of teaching leadership. I encourage the reader of this summary to listen to the model as it is presented to appreciate the idea of the steward leader as the presently needed and future-certain type of leadership utilized in all forms of communities and organizations.

This audio version PowerPoint shares my process of exploring the literature, working through themes, and the steps I followed to develop a conceptual model of steward leading. In listening to the presentation, one will understand the extent of work that went into thinking then designing the model. This conceptual model helps inform my current design work in the dissertation that is shared in the Professional Essay section.
6. Generate and critically evaluate new knowledge, conserves the most important ideas and findings that are a legacy of past and current work and engages in the transformational work of communicating knowledge responsibly to others.
The presentation illustrates my thinking about stewardship causing a paradigm shift in leading. The work is based on literature that shares steward leading including learned maturation and through andragogy; traits of courage with a blend of trust and control ; and the steward's future impacting in it's intergenerationality benefiting all.
I find the presentation shares my strong thought of an improved leadership model which ties to the DEL mission "to produce senior-level leaders capable of integrating theory with practice at the executive leadership level for the sustainability and service of organizations, communities, or institutions in an increasingly complex world.
