Study Skills - How to be a successful student

When: Thursday February 26, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm (Club Hours)

While pursuing your degree, sooner or later you will encounter classes that really challenge you. When this happens, it can be alarming and difficult to know what to do. You are not alone! During this event, we will discuss a variety of study skills to help you succeed in these challenging courses and resources available on campus to assist you. We will also discuss ways to develop skills desired by your potential future employers. These soft and hard skills can seem difficult to obtain. We will suggest ways to acquire them, such as in courses required for general education and free or low-cost external courses or certifications, to enhance your employability after graduation.
