By accessing the DRIVELAB Website (the “Site”) and/or booking any service (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and Customers of DRIVELAB. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.
DRIVELAB reserves the right to change these Terms from time to time for any reason. Access to the Website is subject to these Terms, as they are amended from time to time and published on the Website. You should therefore read this page carefully each time you access the Website. Your continued access to the Website shall be deemed as having read, understood and accepted the revised Terms published on the Site.
By Appointment Only: DRIVELAB operates strictly by appointment. We reserve the right to refuse walk-in Customers to maintain service quality.
Service Accuracy: Automotive detailing, polishing, and coating services are manual processes. Results vary depending on the vehicle age, environmental exposure, and pre-existing condition of the vehicle’s paintwork and interior. DRIVELAB does not guarantee showroom-new results for all vehicles.
Servicing Work: Mechanical servicing is performed based on the information provided by the Customer, manufacturer guidelines, and visible inspection. Hidden defects may not be detectable prior to service.
Removal of Valuables: Customer must remove all personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle prior to drop-off. DRIVELAB shall not be held responsible for loss and/or damage to items left inside the vehicle.
Disclosure of Vehicle Condition: Customer must disclose any known repainted panels, existing damage, loose trim, electrical issues, mechanical faults, and modifications. Failure to disclose may affect service results and liability.
Accuracy of Information: Customer is responsible for ensuring that all information provided (e.g. vehicle model, engine type, registration number, etc.) is accurate for the purpose of part ordering and service records.
Estimates: All quotes provided via WhatsApp, online, or verbally are indicative estimates. For fixed‑price services such as detailing and ceramic coating, the quoted price applies unless the Customer requests additional work. For servicing and repair work, final pricing may vary depending on the vehicle type, parts availability, supplier costs, hidden defects, or additional work required. The Customer acknowledges that estimates are subject to adjustment and agrees to pay the confirmed amount once service requirements are established.
Payment Terms: Full payment is due upon completion prior to vehicle release. We accept payment methods - PayNow, Bank Transfer, Tap-to-Pay (where available) unless otherwise agreed.
Lien: DRIVELAB reserves the right to retain possession of the vehicle until all outstanding service fees are settled in full.
Pre-Existing Damage: DRIVELAB is not liable for damage arising from, including but not limited to, stone chips, oxidized paint, weak clear coat, existing scratches, faded trim, deteriorated plastics, and/or faulty electrical components.
Detailing Limitations: Detailing services do not repair dents, fix deep scratches, restore failing clear coat, or permanently remove heavy defects.
Engine Bay Cleaning: Engine bay cleaning is performed at Customer’s risk. While precautions are taken, DRIVELAB is not liable for any issues arising from, including but not limited to, electrical failures, sensor issues, battery faults, and/or modified wiring failures.
Glass Polishing: Glass polishing may not fully remove deep watermarks or scratches.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, DRIVELAB’s liability is strictly limited to the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific service rendered.
No Scratch-Proof Guarantee: Ceramic coatings do not prevent scratches, stone chips or make paint damage-proof. They provide protection against environmental contaminants only.
Curing Period: Customers must adhere to the 7 days curing period instructions (e.g. no washing, avoid chemicals, remove bird droppings promptly) provided upon collection. Failure to follow aftercare instructions voids all warranties without exception.
Maintenance Requirements: Warranty on coatings (if offered) is only valid if the vehicle is maintained according to DRIVELAB’s aftercare guidelines. Use of automatic brush washes or high-pH chemicals, improper washing techniques by customer may reduce coating performance and voids all coating warranties.
During servicing, additional issues may be discovered. DRIVELAB will inform the customer before proceeding with additional work.
DRIVELAB is not liable for failures due to, including but not limited to, normal wear and tear, aged components, and pre-existing damaged parts.
Collection Time: Vehicles must be collected within 2 hours after notification unless prior arrangements are made.
Storage Fees: Vehicles not collected by the end of business day will incur a storage fee of S$50 per night. Storage fees must be settled prior to vehicle release.
Environmental Exposure: DRIVELAB is not responsible for environmental exposure for vehicles left beyond collection time.
DRIVELAB reserves the right to terminate a service or refuse service, cancel booking, and/or stop work in progress if a Customer is found to be abusive, provides fraudulent information, or if the vehicle is deemed unsafe for our technicians to work on, or requested work may damage the vehicle. DRIVELAB shall not be liable for any losses arising from termination under this clause.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any claim relating to the use of the Website shall be heard by the Singapore courts.
In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, the parties shall at first instance take reasonable efforts to settle and resolve such disputes in good faith and in an amicable manner by negotiation.
DRIVELAB shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, pandemics, strikes, supply chain disruptions, equipment breakdowns, or accidents. In such cases, DRIVELAB reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services without liability to the Customer.
DRIVELAB reserves the right to amend, vary or modify these Terms at any time, without giving prior notice to you and such amendments shall be effective immediately upon publication of such amendments on the Site.
