DrivingReport (the "App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your information to ensure a secure and transparent experience.
The App collects the following data to provide its core features:
Driving & Vehicle Records: Driving distance, date/time, fuel records, and fuel efficiency data. This is used for generating statistics and managing your personal records.
Location Data: To provide "Automatic Trip Logging" and "Automatic Address Retrieval," the App accesses your location (latitude and longitude) and the converted address information derived from that data.
Local Storage: All trip logs and location data are stored exclusively on your device.
iCloud Usage: If you have enabled iCloud, your data is synced and backed up to Apple’s iCloud storage for multi-device access and data recovery.
No Developer Access: The Developer does not view, collect, or transmit your trip history or location data to any external servers. Address conversion (reverse geocoding) is processed through Apple’s system APIs; the Developer is not involved in this process.
To verify measurement accuracy and improve algorithms in environments with unstable GPS signals (such as inside tunnels), this App may collect fragmentary technical logs under specific conditions.
Information Collected: Anonymized coordinate pairs at the points of entry and exit of tunnels, success/failure of corrections, and date information.
Anonymity of Data: The collected data does not include any "personally identifiable information," such as names, email addresses, device identifiers, or detailed movement history.
Opt-in Control: The transmission of this technical data is based on the user's consent (opt-in). Users can freely toggle this function on or off at any time from the "Settings" screen within the App. If disabled, no such data will be transmitted.
To improve the App's performance and user experience, we use Google Analytics for Firebase.
Information Collected: Statistical usage data (e.g., screen views, button taps) is collected as anonymous information.
Anonymity: This data is aggregated and does not include any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name or email address.
Details: For more information on how Google processes data, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy.
Payment for premium features is processed via Apple’s StoreKit API.
All transactions are handled securely by Apple. The Developer does not obtain or store your credit card numbers or other billing information.
Purchase restoration and verification are handled based on Apple’s authentication.
The Developer shall not be held liable, directly or indirectly, for any actions taken by the User using the App, or for any damages, malfunctions, or data loss resulting from the use of the App.
