Ltd (메디클러스) received a 'Core Technology Development and Corporate Support Projects in the Bio-health Industry Grant' supported by the Chungbuk Bio-Health Industry Innovation Center (Regional Innovation Strategy and the Korea Research Foundation). Prof. Kim will receive a total of ₩323,000,000 (equivalent to 3,230,000 USD) over the next 24 months on the research topic of 'Development of bioceramic sealer with ease of regeneration and removal of trans-tooth tissue.'

The Core Technology Development and Corporate Support Projects in the Bio-health Industry Grant is a project supported by the Chungchungbukdo Province and ICT for up to 5 years to encourage research immersion through fellowships so that bio-related scientists, especially, in biotechnology, precision medicine, and cosmetic industry, can grow and establish themselves as core scientists by conducting research desired with corporate together.

Prof. Kim will receive a total of ₩30,000,000 (equivalent to 3,000 USD) over the next 6 months as the research topic of 'Training in the production of materials capable of forming blood vessels and bones'

This Project Lab Grant is a program that trains student engineers by solving the problems of on-site difficulties, and helping companies contribute to increasing sales through productivity and quality improvement.

2021.07.23 Prof. Kim was appointed as a Local Organizing Committee member of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Society - Asian Pacific (TERMIS-AP) 2022 held on October 5-8, 2022.

2021.07.05 Congratulations to Prof. Kim. His paper (Corresponding author) got accepted in the journal FEBS Letters! This study provides the effect of reducing the microenvironment on the early osteogenic commitment of stem cells from FAK activation and cell surface protein-mediated signaling modulation.

2021.05.26 Prof. Kim gave an invited talk at the UNIST in Prof. Jinmyung Joo's Laboratory.

2021.05.03 Congratulations to Prof. Kim. His paper (Corresponding author) got accepted in the journal Material Science and Engineering: Part C! This study provides interest in graphene oxide at the interfaces of chemistry, biomaterials, and tissue engineering. In this study, the authors give an insight into the importance of graphene oxide surface function for interplaying protein adsorption and guiding muscle differentiation.

2021.04.23 Prof. Kim became an affiliate professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at KNUT.

2021.03.31 Congratulations to Prof. Kim. His paper (1st Author) got accepted in the journal Advanced Healthcare Materials! This study provides new composite material and novel insights to bioengineer bone tissue in vivo. The journal followed a biomimetic, developmental engineering approach that combines material science, stem cell biology, and bone physiology expertise.

2021.03.01 Congratulations to Prof. Hwan Drew Kim for receiving a 'Basic Research Project Sejong Science Fellowship Grant' supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Research Foundation. Prof. Kim will receive a total of ₩600,000,000 (equivalent to 580,000 USD) over the next five years as the research topic of 'Biomaterials recapitulate musculoskeletal tissue and hematopoietic niche through vascular engineering for bone organoid'.

The Sejong Science Fellowship is a project newly supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT this year to encourage research immersion through fellowships so that young scientists, such as assistant professors and postdoctoral researchers, can grow and establish themselves as core scientists by conducting research desired.
