This is a tale of two oblivious princesses. One of them is a royal girl, and the other is a village princess who is loved by all.
Every winter, it is Princess Maya's birthday, so there is a grand local celebration in which everyone is invited. The old, the young, the children, rich, poor, everyone, even the flies are taken care of! The king is generous and loved by all. He is proud of his daughter, as she's the only one he can't lose and as he has already lost his wife, Samantha, in a tsunami. As we can see, Maya lives a beautiful life. She has everything she desires and never asks much. The only thing she really ever asks for is, a mum. A mother who can take care of her, like all mothers do. The one who tells children bedtime stories of fairies and princes. The one who guides them in what to do and what not to. But as she never really saw hers, she doesn't miss her mother. She's been a girl who's kind of a rebel. The one who is a bit of chitty-chatty little monkey. The one who escapes home, her so called kingdom, for a break! She likes to go to her favorite place, the moor which she calls, the rebellion land. That's because, no one's allowed to go there, because the merries live there. -The creatures with tails and wings. The light there is almost blue with a tint of violet. The place looks amazing! The princess has been caught going there several times. But would she listen? No. People call her crazy. But I will not. She's an awesome rebel!
It was another such day, no actually her birthday, and she escaped! To her land! She was determined to see the merries she never really did see before. Who knows? Maybe today is the lucky day?
Far from the kingdom, a girl was not so happy. She was exhausted. She had a rough day. She was on the verge of tears. But on what? On the princess's birthday!? She went to the kitchen, took out a pastry not so fancy, and swallowed it along with the sad lump on her throat. She was called Sara. It was her birthday too. But no one seemed to remember. Not even her own mother! Now that's rude. She just wished if she could replace herself for the princess.
She went outside to get some fresh air, even though it was night. She felt sleepy, but she didn't mind. She looked up at the night sky, the stars. She makes a wish - I wish I were the Princess. Does wishing upon a shooting star really work? You'll have to wait and see...
