Chapter 1: Meeting Friends
“Possie, wake up!”
Possie turned over. Still asleep. Aura and Possie were best friends. The most beautiful friendship that has ever been existed. Yesterday after school, they went to their Magic Hut and had an unexpected sleepover! Earlier that day, they drew and wrote whatever they remembered from school. They loved their school so, so much. Their school was called Magical High. It was all about Magic- Spells, Fairies, Fun. Their school also had a stay back for students of Magic. Pretty cool, huh? This day, Aura was very seriously researching on something. Possie wakes up by now. “What is it, Aura?”
“This thing, I just found in my bag!”
“Wow...It looks like a box!”
“Uh-huh.”
Aura opens the box. They both squint their eyes while something like gold light shines all over the place from the box. A magical book emerges from within which opens automatically. Magic is almost normal to the girls by now, but this thing looks incredible!
“Oh!” they both said, stunned. They both were so happy they started laughing and giggling at the same time. “Look,” said Aura, “These are places!” She points to one of them in the book. It was of a bedroom, a bed with sky blue pillows, and deep blue blankets. They both started shaking as if an earthquake took place! They held on each other. They closed their eyes shut.
“Possie, wake up!”
“Aura! Why are we sleeping in…your house?”
“Possie! This isn’t my house. It’s the one in the book!”
“Aura, this is very strange…”
“I know! Magical too!”
They both smiled as if they’re reading each other’s minds.
“I’m glad it’s Sunday.” Aura says finally.
“Same, girl.”
“Did you bring the spell book?” Aura asked Possie now.
“What? No! Why?”
“Oh no, we could have fun here.”
“Oh, but I do remember the flying spell from yesterday!”
“Are you thinking what I am thinking?”
“Of course, I am!”
“Wait, I guess I have the Purple Potion too.”
“Spell, check. Potion, Check. Instruction, check!” the both exclaimed in chorus, which pretty much shocked them.
“So,” Possie starts, “You have to put 3 drops of the Purple liquid.”
“3 drops check!” Aura laughs jokingly.
“Aura….”
“Possie…” Aura plays again.
“You’re the Mistress of Sarcasm.”
“That’s not your line. It’s mine! You stole it from me!”
“Okay fine, continue.” Says Aura for her best friend’s sake. And her’s too, to be honest.
“Then you gotta say…AGGRALE!”
Aura said ‘Aggrale’ just like Possie.
Then exactly after two seconds,
“SABRINA!”
They both start floating in the air!
“This is soooo magical!” Aura squeals!
“I know, right?” Possie agrees.
“I’ve never tried a spell before!” Aura says.
Yes, that was true. The teachers at Magical High said they were not to until they hit the age of Fifteen (which was not so far away anyways). Possie was Fourteen and a half and Aura had just turned Fourteen.
Later Aura started panicking that where was her Magic Box!
“Chill, girl. It’s fine. I’m sure it’s here, it can’t be gone!” said Possie, still in the air.
“Possie, when we were at the hut, it was in my bag right? When I woke you up and told you about it? Let me do the same again.” Aura checked her bag and gladly found it.
“I told you.” Said Possie, mentioning the fact that she’s smart too for the job.
Aura wanted to correct and remind her that it was all her problem-solving skill but decided to leave it. Then they opened the box and started pointing to the hut to go home. “Waitt…Let’s go to school instead. I know it’s Sunday, but we can use the Stay-Back room.”
“Great Idea!” Aura said. They searched to find the picture of the school. The book had the pictures of all the different places of Fairy Land.
The stay back room was amazing too. It had all the latest spells to learn, including fascinating wands! The wands were basically, a twig with a red luminous ignited end like a mini bulb. There were yellow and orange bulbs also. “I admit, there’s a lot to learn.” Possie sighed.
“Of course, we’ll do it!”
Suddenly, the door creaks open. Two boys entered. They were training to be fairies as well, like the girls. There’s a lot of different options, Fairies, Witches/Wizards, Mermaids/Mermans, Merries.
Merries meaning Fairies + Mermaids. It is a really high level though.
Right now, people mostly chose Fairies and Witches/Wizards.
“Hey girls! What’s up in Sunday afternoon?” one of the fairy-boy says.
Both Possie and Aura hesitate. They blush out of shyness.
“Hey,” Possie starts, “Nothing much. Just um, exploring.”
“Yeah,” Aura continues, “And you?”
“We are um…just came in ‘cause we heard your voices coming.” The other one says. This guy insists the first one to get out of the room, but the first one stays calm and says he’ll manage.
“So, Sunday beauty…your face is as red as the Sun.” the first boy says to Aura which completely shocks her.
Everyone laughs. Aura smiles too. Aura could see the first boy whispering to the other that he started the conversation. “What’s your name?” says the other one.
“Me?” Possie confirms.
“Both of you.” They say.
Aura and Possie tell their names.
The boys were Andy and Peter.
They sit together for a while. Andy and Peter pretended to read spells like Aura and Possie, but weren’t obviously, like the girls weren’t either. “So, we’re all Fairies, huh?” said Peter who was the only one with words present and was shooting them all out every second he got a thought.
“Yeah.” Aura said. Possie laughs, “You kinda remind me of Peter Pan.”
“Exactly what I thought!” Aura exclaims but so low that she didn’t think someone actually heard her. She didn’t say it earlier because she thought it was so flirty. Maybe Possie regretted it too, but Aura was glad she spoke her mind out loud.
“Yeah? My mom thinks that’s true.”
“What’s true?” Aura states, all confused.
“That I’m like Peter Pan. Only the one who grows up.”
Possie also talks about Tinkerbell. She knows all fairytales, unlike Aura.
“I actually really want to know them all.” Aura says.
Possie laughs and so does everyone else.
Bing!
“Oh wait. There’s a message from mom.” Possie panics.
“What does it say?” Aura wondered.
“It says- Where are you? Aren’t you supposed to be home on a Sunday?”
She makes a panic face with her mouth open like ‘eee’.
“Aura, I have to go. You coming with me?”
“Yeah sis.” Aura has to say.
“Bye guys!” They both waved to the boys and went.
Chapter 2: Awkward
At night, Aura started writing on her diary.
29th August
Dear Diary,
Today was fantastic! Me and Possie were having a great time flying. Yes, flying! So unbelievable. We met two very cool boys too! They were both training to be fairies as well! One of them, Peter was like talking nonstop. He said he was like Peter Pan, only the one who grows up. Andy was the shy guy. He has deep brown hair and blue-grey eyes. Peter has Black hair with blue highlights, like me, and green eyes. And by the way diary, I’ve got blue eyes. Possie has brown hair with purple balayage, and black eyes. And yeah- I almost forgot the Magic Box! It is an awesome magic tool which takes you to places, anywhere you want! All you gotta do is just point! Amazing right? Bye for now, love you! ❤
Aura goes to bed. She dreams of Peter Pan rescuing her! “Aah!” She says the second she wakes up. “I just love Peter Pan!”
Possie calls her.
“Hey sissy!”
“Hey Pussy” Aura teases.
“Haha😄, Wanna come over? “
“Just a second. Literally.”
She reaches with a few seconds. Thanks to Magic Box, she can never be late anywhere!
“I got a dream!” Possie blurts.
“OMG! Same!”
“First me! I got of Peter Pan! Look there I said it already!” Possie snickers.
“Possie. I. Got. The. Same. Dream.” Aura says surprised.
“Then it’s not a dream. It’s an indication!”
“You’re Right! Let’s get to school first though. It starts in thirty minutes.”
“Relax! That’s the reason I called you to come over. So that we both can reach on time, by the Magic Box.” Possie explains.
“I know…but don’t you wanna spend time in the Stay-Back room?”
“I do. Okay, let’s go.”
So, they sneak off to school.
The moment they reach, Possie bumps into someone.
She looks up, stunned.
“Um…sorry!”
Andy shakes her off him, shyly.
“Lol, Possie!” Aura laughs and then smirks.
Possie blushes red out of embarrassment.
“Oh, hey Possie.” Andy says now as if he just remembered Possie’s name when her best friend said it.
Both Aura and Possie burst out. Now, Andy turns red.
“Where’s Peter?” Aura says shakingly trying not to act too shy with boys.
“Oh Peter? I don’t know. He didn’t come with me so…” Andy shrugs.
Aura looks at Possie. Andy looks at the floor. Everyone seems too shy. An awkward silence takes place…until the hero of the morn shows up.
“Hey broo!” A voice of relief shows up.
“Aura was wondering about you.” Andy whispers to Peter which completely shocks him, and Aura too.
“Nooo! I mean, yeah just wondering. It ain’t wrong!” Aura opposes slowly speaking.
“Who said it is?” Andy shoots realizing the fact that Aura heard him.
“This is going very awkward to be honest,” Peter says, “Perhaps we should leave you girls.”
“No, we have no problem! Don’t mind us! WE’RE VERY SHY PEOPLE, ACTUALLY!!” Possie shouts, not so loudly, but they didn’t hear her.”
“Leave it, Possie.” Aura says now, “Didn’t you see how embarrassed Andy made Peter? I bet, he lost his cool.”
“Maybe…” says Possie. “But nothing that awkward like you get in situations.”
“Look who’s talking.” Aura guards herself.
She suddenly remembers her sister, Happy Twilight. She was her coach for all the sarcasm she had. “You know Possie? Sometimes, when you really miss someone.”
“Who’s in your mind now?”
“My sister.”
Possie makes a disconcerted face.
“Aura. Call her. Now.”
“That’s the unbiological sister I know!” Aura smiles out of her darkness. Possie may not be so amusing, but she really is a true best friend.
“By the way Possie, what dream did you had?”
“About Peter Pan?”
“Yes.”
“I dreamt that he saved you. Only he had a different face.”
“Possie…”
“It was just a dream, Aura!”
“Nope! It was an indication.”
“Just call your sister okay?”
Chapter 3: Purple
“Um...it’s ringing…”
“Hello!”
Possie then insists Aura to put her phone on speaker mode.
“Hi Aura! Wassup?” Happy says like they’ve been talking for a long time.
Triiinggg!
“Oh gosh! The school bells!” Possie gets alarmed.
“Wait a minute…” Aura says on the phone.
“Possie, tell the teacher that I’m researching something VERY important in the library. Don’t say I’m in the bathroom. That’ll be a lie.”
“You sure it’s gonna work?”
“Yes, I am VERY sure! So, I’ll head off to the library, okay?”
“Okay.”
Aura, by her Magic Box goes to the library. The library is huge and full of books. It gives some historic vibes.
“Happy!” says Aura finally.
“Hey sis, long time no talk. I really missed you.”
“Same Happy. Or should I say Hippo, lol.”
“LMAO!!”
“Wanna see me?” Aura says now.
“Of course! Video call?”
“No. You’ll get me in a minute.”
“Tadaa!” says Aura, just too excited (or happy let’s say), to see Happy.
“How did you do that???” said Happy, almost getting a heart attack.
“I’ll show you how.”
Aura opens the box and takes her sister to the library.
“This is magnificent!” exclaims Happy.
“I know, right?”
Suddenly, Aura gets a brilliant idea. What if she replaces the book on the magic box with another?
She picks a good-looking book, Purple. It looked like a nice story book.
She keeps the original Fairy Land book in her pocket and puts Purple in the box.
She gets inside the pages of the book, with Happy too obviously.
“It’s not a dream, is it?” said Happy still not believing.
“It’s better than a dream!” Aura giggles.
Both of them bump into a cute girl with purple hair, yellow skin, and black eyes.
“Oh sorry!” All of them say.
“Who are you?” the girl says.
“I’m Happy, and she is Aura.”
“I’m Plarck.”
“Plarck?” Aura repeats.
“Yes, Plarck.” Plarck answers.
“Nice to meet you. I’m from the Fairy Land.” Aura says.
“Oh! That’s cool! I knew fairies were real!” the little girl beams.
Aura winks. “They are. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”
“Do you believe in Purple?” Plarck says stupidly.
This puzzles the other two.
“Huh?” Aura and Happy exchange faces.
They all suddenly burst laughing.
