About "The Dream Team"

"The Dream Team" was started in August 2020 when Maribel and Victoria were tasked with creating materials, presentations, and activities for a secondary educators STEM Institute via their workplace. Their natural flow and collaboration during the working sessions led them to believe that co-facilitating seminars, conferences, and workshops would be a great opportunity to spread knowledge about anti-racism, equity, and the importance of implementing these concepts into all spaces.

Since then they have co-facilitated many sessions together on these pertinent topics and are constantly examining systems of oppression and how they relate to education and students of color.

Looking to expand outside of their immediate circles, "The Dream Team" aims to disrupt "normal" within education and make normal liberatory by any and all means possible.
