These Terms of Use govern your use of the Dream Journal: Sleep & Lucid iOS application ("the app", "we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Free tier, Dream Journal Pro and billing
Core journaling in Dream Journal is free of charge, with no advertising, and may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes. Optional Dream Journal Pro features are sold through Apple's App Store as in-app purchases: an auto-renewable subscription (monthly, or yearly with a 3-day free trial) or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the period at the price shown at purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime on your device in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Previous purchases can be restored with the Restore button on the paywall. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
2. Your content stays yours
All dreams, voice recordings, photos, drawings, and notes you create in the app belong to you. We do not claim any rights to your content. We never see it, transmit it, or copy it (see the Privacy Policy for details).
Provided as-is
The app is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that data will never be lost. Always keep your own backups (Settings > Export).
4. Not medical advice
The symbol meanings, lucid-dreaming techniques, and statistics shown in the app are for informational and reflective purposes only. They are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you experience persistent nightmares, sleep disorders, or psychological distress, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or resell the app. You agree not to use the app for any illegal purpose or in any way that would violate Apple's App Store terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
