Marta realizes that, even though she has never left her country, the whole world is part of her daily life. This is globalization: a constant connection between countries, cultures, and people.

Globalization and Cultural Heritage

Globalization has deeply influenced cultural heritage all over the world. Thanks to globalization, historical cities, monuments, traditions, and local cultures have become more visible and accessible to international visitors. Tourism, technology, and digital communication help promote cultural heritage and create economic opportunities for many countries.
