The mission of dream(S)TEAM is to provide middle and high school aged young women with a dream team of successful women role models who use their STEAM careers for positive change. By sharing and illustrating the paths of women already in STEAM, dream(S)TEAM hopes to inspire the next generation of STEAM professionals to begin or continue their STEAM dreams.
First and foremost, I would like to thank my wonderful project advisor, Kathleen Sprague, and my amazing mom, for supporting and making this project a success. I would also like to give a huge thank you to all the women who agreed to give their time and share their stories for dream(S)TEAM, because without them this project could never have reached fruition. They are truly remarkable people, and I hope their words inspire everyone who reads them. I also want to thank Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England for hosting the Zoom speaker nights as well as all the girls who attended them.
