I am an experienced clinician, professor, author, public speaker, health education consultant, and a proven leader, across clinical, management, technology, and process functions. I have cultivated experience in PA education with a focus on innovative education, increasing student engagement, and integration of technology in education and practice. Furthermore, as previous Chair of the Massachusetts Board of Physician Assistants for over a decade, I have handled complex situations regarding regulations and laws. I am committed to providing the best care to patients in the changing landscape of healthcare.
The future of our profession is only as good as the people we entrust the knowledge of our profession to. Working in education has allowed me to push the boundaries of innovation and care. Clinical and medical education is only part of what I do. Engaging students and graduates in advocating for our profession is crucial not only for the success of our profession but for healthcare in general. I truly believe that through advocacy and education, we can improve the lives of our patients and community. Learning is a neverending journey!
I live in Brookline, with my two kids and dog, Rebel.
