Hello! I'm Delia, an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Education, NTU, and I hold a PhD in Special Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
My research interest broadly is in fostering neurodiversity/autism-affirming environments in education and workplace settings.
My current research focuses on supporting autistic individuals in their transitions to and participation in postsecondary settings (higher education, employment, community participation). My research interests also extend to supporting teacher professional development focused on disability-affirming, accessible supports grounded in universal design and evidence-based practices. I also explore the potential of emerging technologies (including AI and large language models) as practical supports across educational and workplace contexts.
Across these areas, I am committed to participatory approaches and strive for consultation and co-production with autistic individuals, educators, and the wider disability community throughout the research cycle.
