Summer Sessions

Summer Sessions is a premier, free outdoor concert series hosted annually by the Town of Stony Plain, Alberta, at Heritage Park. Curated and co-produced in partnership with DRC Music—a Stony Plain-based artist management and booking agency founded by Jazz Matthews—the multi-week event has become a cornerstone of the region's live music culture.

Under DRC Music’s direction, the series transforms Wednesday evenings from June to August into a vibrant community festival. The agency pairs emerging local openers with renowned Canadian headliners—including past acts like Doc Walker, George Canyon, and Martin Kerr—solidifying the Town of Stony Plain's reputation as a dynamic hub for the arts.
