Summer Sessions in Stony Plain

Since 2013, Summer Sessions has grown into one of Stony Plain, Alberta’s signature cultural events, transforming Wednesday evenings from June to August into a vibrant community festival. Presented by the Town of Stony Plain and produced under DRC Music’s direction, this free, family-friendly outdoor concert series takes place at Heritage Park’s Blueberry Stage.

The series brings together music lovers from across the Edmonton Metropolitan Region and beyond by pairing emerging local openers with renowned Canadian headliners—including past acts like Doc Walker, George Canyon, and Martin Kerr. This dynamic format spans a diverse mix of musical genres, creating crucial opportunities for new talent to reach fresh audiences alongside established, award-winning performers.

With local food trucks, a welcoming outdoor atmosphere, and thousands of attendees throughout the season, Summer Sessions has solidified the Town of Stony Plain's reputation as a dynamic hub for the arts.

Throughout our 20 years of agency experience, we have been blessed to work with incredible talent, and we are always looking for exceptional performers who bring musical quality, personality, and a genuine connection to the stage. Whether you are an emerging artist ready to take the next step or an established act looking to connect with new fans, we invite you to introduce yourself and become part of the Summer Sessions story.
