As the Korean adage goes, '공부해서 남주냐' (Studying hard benefits you, not others), I am convinced that acquiring knowledge and experience not only enriches my personal growth but also empowers others through meaningful education. I am deeply passionate about education and have dedicated myself to supporting underserved learners, including those from low socio-economic backgrounds, individuals with learning disabilities, and students from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Throughout my journey as an educator, I have embraced various roles such as teacher, manager, consultant, leader, and mentor. My experiences have shaped me into a creative, supportive, and empathetic educator, driven by a strong goal-oriented mindset and exceptional interpersonal skills. I thrive in dynamic educational environments, constantly adapting and innovating to meet evolving needs. As A. Rooney aptly remarked, 'Great teachers are usually a little crazy,' and I embrace that spirit wholeheartedly.

My vision is to champion equitable access to quality education, driven by my diverse experiences and unwavering commitment to transformative change. Rooted in my upbringing in Seoul, Korea, I navigate societal barriers with resilience, leveraging my leadership roles to advocate for inclusive educational environments. As an Asian woman in a male-dominant field, I prioritize effective communication and nurturing leadership, empowering individuals to excel in education.

Looking ahead, I aspire to drive systemic change in education policy and practice, particularly in underdeveloped countries. With a focus on education reform and capacity-building, I aim to leave a lasting legacy of positive impact, fostering a future where education serves as a cornerstone of opportunity and societal advancement.

Finally, "pay it forward" is one of my life philosophies, as I aspire to become a facilitator of opportunities in the end. Furthermore, I believe that God connects individuals with good intentions to accomplish greater things. According to actress Ann Hathaway, "Individually, we are whole; together, we are more."
