My goal is to help singers develop effective, efficient and expressive voices. Using a standard vocal technique approach, guided by current voice science research and nearly 30 years of experience teaching voices of all ages, I work with singers to develop their voice to its maximum potential. We then apply that work to the music they want to sing across any style or genre.
I specialize in supporting changing and transitioning voices across the lifespan. The singers I work with may be serious singers preparing for auditions for college, festivals, or musical theater productions or younger singers who are just discovering their love for singing. Others are adult amateur or professional singers who hope to develop more control and coordination of their voice. They all love to sing because it keeps them happy and healthy.
No prior experience or knowledge is necessary to begin singing lessons!

*Group lessons are 2-3 singers max, and are recommended for singers under the age of 12 or anyone who just wants to sing with friends or share the cost of their lesson.

Flexible summer scheduling available. Lessons take place at the UVM voice studio at the Music Building : 384 South Prospect St.

Cancellation Policy: Out of professional courtesy, please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling. A missed lesson without advanced notification, will be charged for that time.

Drive up and around the big U drive at Southwick Hall. The Music Building entrance is set back in the modern looking building just to the left of Southwick. You can park in one of the Pay by App spots that are on the circle or in the lot around back. The front entrance of the modern building will bring you directly into the lobby. If you park around the back, you can enter the building from the side entrance by the loading dock. This will bring you right to the voice studio on your right.
