2.   Project title: Unmanned surface vehicle for dam monitoring and bathymetry survey near the Himalayan region.

Funding agency: National Mission for Himalayan Studies.

Role- Co-PI (Submitted and addressed reviewer comments and modified the proposal, design and training started).

Amount- Rs. 48 Lakhs (Ongoing).

3.   Project title: Design and development of a metallic hull based unmanned vehicle for health monitoring of dams.

Funding agency: IIT Guwahati Technology Innovation and Development Foundation. (Under SC/ST Category)

Role- Co-PI (Submitted and defended the proposal, design and development started),

Amount- Rs. 6 Lakhs, Duration – 2 Year. (Ongoing).

4.   Project title: Design and development of unmanned underwater vehicles (UUV) for monitoring of rivers in the Himalayan region.

Funding agency: National Mission for Himalayan Studies.

Role- Submitted the proposal and working under Co-PI- Prof. S. K. Dwivedy, and PI: Dr. S. Tarafdar (Scientist-E, G. B. Pant NIHE, Govt. of India), Visit to the vulnerable site in Dehradun on October 2025, to identify specific requirements.

Amount- Rs. 2.84 Crore, Duration – 2 Year (Ongoing).

5.   Project title: Design and Development of an Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle for Monitoring of Dams and Water Bodies Eco-System.

       Funding agency: TiHAN at IIT Hyderabad.

Role- Written and submitted the proposal as PI, Co-PI: Dr. Anshul Garg (IIT Guwahati TIDF)

       Amount- Rs. 25 Lakhs Crore, Duration – 1 Year (Under review).

Workshops/Training Organized, Short-term Course/FDP Attended

1. Organized an “NMHS-Funded Hybrid Workshop on Applied Robotics and IoT: Safeguarding the Himalayan Region” held on 27th March 2026. Funding of ₹1 lakh was provided under the National Mission for Himalayan Studies (NMHS) project grant from the Co-PI’s allocated funds. 

2. Co-organizer of the International Workshop on Dam Safety 2024 held from 27th June 2024 to 29th June 2024. Majorly involved in getting gold and silver sponsorship (2 Lakhs), conducting technical sessions, and inviting speakers and participants.

3. Organized a 5-day online short-term workshop as the course coordinator on “Dynamics and Control of Mechanical, Electrical, and Robotic Systems through MATLAB” from 18th Feb 2023 to 22nd Feb 2023 sponsored by IITG TIDF and CICPS, IIT Guwahati. Also presented a talk in this workshop and involved participants in solving assignments with hands-on sessions by MATLAB coding.

Extracurriculars 

•     Runners-up in table tennis and Chess tournaments held at IIEST Shibpur in the year 2013 among all the postgraduate hostel students during Master of Engineering. 

•  Four-time silver medallist in powerlifting at SPARDA (Intra hostel competitions among the students of IIT Guwahati) in the year-wise. 

•  Two-time gold medallist in weightlifting at SPARDA, IIT Guwahati. 

•  First position in PAN inter IIT yoga (artistic) online competition in the year 2022.

•  First and Third position in yoga competitions among the students of IIT Guwahati in the tenth and fifth International Yoga Day, respectively.
