The lightboard can be built and used to demonstrate content using neon highlighter pens and also layered video content. This is a short demonstration.
You have heard of animated GIFs, right? Here is an animation that I created in WeVideo. OK, technically, it's not an animation, but a clip that was "sped up". As you insert it or embed it, the clip will appear as an animated GIF.
Above, I asked some awesome volunteers pose for three images.
In WeVideo, I placed the images in the timeline.
Increased the speed of the clips.
Selected and repeated the clips.
Copied the group, pasted, repeated three more times in the timeline.
Saved (Exported as MP4).
Voilà!
Step 1: Download your slides as a PDF.
Step 2: Import the PDF into WeVideo by using the Import Button (green cloud or drag the item into the media area). You will see each slide pop up individually as it is imported. Example: 20 slides will import as 20 clips.
Step 3: Add text, music, annotations as needed.
Step 4: Finish and TaDa!
The short story is that if students download the Google Slide presentation as a PDF, WeVideo will allows them to upload the PDF and create a video! This allows students to add text, graphics, voice-overs, annotations, and music!
