I had the opportunity to present about podcasting during the PD Palooza three-day webinar presented by WeVideo.
WeVideo is one of my favorite digital tools. In this training session, I compared how a podcast can have a deeper emotional impact when created without images, with images, and with images and sound. (All of this made possible by one program - WeVideo! Here is the link to the program - Https://wevideo.com
(Or how not to do it)
(Created in 2019, this video breaks at least 3 rules of video creation: Don't record on a loud street. Don't record when you have had only 3 hours sleep. And fix your glasses!!! )
However, here are some valuable questions for reflection:
1. What was the best professional development you have ever attended - (or facilitated).
2. What made it so great?
Try to look past the hysterical faux-pas.

In this session, learn how your students can create a 1 minute video evaluating and sharing poetry annotations. Students love video, so connect their interest with higher-order thinking as they evaluate poetry. WeVideo is a tool purchased by Temple ISD; it plays nice with Google Drive and is fun to use! Teachers of primary grades may also attend, but adapt the skill level to group work or whole class activity. Please bring your Chromebook to this session.
