My teaching philosophy reflects my commitment to change through education and my core belief that students should be empowered to grow. I consider student participation to be a fundamental element of learning and teaching, and I emphasize the importance of student engagement in critical and analytical reasoning. Crucial to successful teaching is an interactive and compelling content as well as students' sense of community. Students should be encouraged to engage with one another and the instructor in constructive and supportive ways. Of no lesser importance is making learning relevant to students' lives, now and in the future.
