Maybe for someone who doesn't care about the software experience and is mostly interested in the hardware, the excellent hardware specifications of Huawei's flagships are enough. Maybe a shutterbug, who only cares about the (excellent) camera module, couldn't care less about Google services. Or maybe you're content with the Huawei P30 Pro, one of the best smartphones of its time (circa 2019) that still holds up and has GMS.

But here I am talking about buying a new Huawei smartphone without Google services in 2023. Personally, I would not consider picking it up in the long run. And I think reviewers and other tech journalists should take responsibility and confront Huawei with a status quo that no longer holds.

It was so important to transfer years of my android whatsapp chat history and not being able to do this made me think of returning iphone and continue using android. Facing the exact same issue... contacted whatsapp support and they asked me to get in touch with apple support. Its really frustrating as to why everything works well and takes hours together but the last step of moving chat history gets stuck at 40! Kindly provide a solution that works!!!

Something went wrong while my iphone was moving chat from android after restarting a reset iphone. It happened at 38% importing progress. Is there any solution to this? Plenty of battery on both devices which were on same 5G wifi. I have been trying the migration for the last 2 years. it never works. It is the closest I could get.
