On Windows desktop and iOS, I will paste a link to a YouTube video and it will turn the url into the name of the video and add an embedded player/thumbnail. I always end up deleting these to make my notes less messy. Is there a way to turn off this feature? I couldn't find any setting.

Is there a way to set "convert to link" as the default, when pasting urls? It's particularly annoying when I try to paste YouTube links, since I usually want to add a time stamp after the url. With the current default behavior I have to wait for Evernote to build a window/video tab (which takes a while), navigate to "Convert to link" (which takes 3 clicks), and then add the time stamp.

It's also annoying that Google Doc links are now always converted to a horizontal bar with only part of the title, so I can no longer see/copy the url itself. I use Evernote primarily as a text note keeper, and need to be able to quickly copy and paste links, urls, etc.

I really love the feature! I don't want it for all my links but I love being able to watch a video in the note and add my notes and comments directly underneath. I tend to use one of the larger size options.

Wrote this little custom HTML window that fetches my most recent YouTube videos in a filterable list and lets me use the keyboard to quickly select, copy, and paste any YouTube video link from my channel.

If you inspect the embed that discord generates when you paste a link, it is not a rich embed, but a video embed. You can actually create this video embed yourself but likely due to security reasons you cannot send it without it getting mangled.

Very helpful for quick note taking would be the ability to embed certain web content directly in a note to avoid having to deal with screenshots when linking or having to leave the context of Obsidian when reading later.

Is there an option to add a video that does not give users the ability to "share" or copy the link? We want to be able to provide videos within the articles, but do not want anyone to be able to distribute them.

Because in Zendesk, you are just embedding the videos here. It would still depend on where the source of your video is. Also, I have checked from my end and if you will add a video from Youtube, there's already a Copy link button from the video that will already allow your end-users to copy the video link.

It seems that when embedding a BrightCove video, you have to use the full URL. If you try to use the shortened URL, you get an error. Am I missing something? It's been a pain to have to go back and find the full URLs for all the videos that I want to embed! (NOTE: if you just want to hyperlink to the video, the shortened URL works fine. Just not for embedding the video)

When end users look at one of our help center articles with a YouTube link, the video is not showing up. When I am signed in as a Guide Admin and using Google chrome, it works. All other browsers are failing to show the YouTube video though. I have tried Brave, Edge, Firefox, and they all fail. The end user is also not seeing it with chrome.

I think you were confused about my comment above. I am saying that the YouTube video is not showing up in our help center articles anymore. The link is correct and has "watch" and not "shorts" in the URL. On Monday 5/23 the only browser that was working was Chrome, but it was only working for me as an Admin. Now even chrome is not displaying the videos along with every other browser I have tried. Is there a known issue with this?

You'll need to upload the video to something that'll allow you to generate a share link - either a site dedicated to hosting videos, or a cloud drive that will auto-generate share links. Once you have a shareable link that anyone can access - i.e. the video isn't set to private or unlisted, and doesn't require special permissions to access - you can link it.

If using a video hosting site, you can use the video block. If using a different type of system to host and share the video, I'd recommend using either a text, button, or image link instead.

Usually I copied and pasted Youtube link into Whatsapp chat and the link automatically converted to embedded video. But since November 27 2020 this does not work for me. So I can paste the link but it stays as link and is not being converted into embedded video.

Embed enterprise Office365 files. Select Share in your Office365 file to create a link to the file. Choose which permissions you want the user to have and select Copy Link. This copies the link to your clipboard. To embed the content, select Insert Content > Media from the editor. Paste the link in Media URL. Select Insert.

When uploading a video from Youtube less than 60 seconds long, YouTube defaults the video to a "Short." Our current Quick Embed option doesn't support embedding Shorts, and you will need to manually update the link first.

I open TextEdit and drag the Link URL into the TextEdit page. It creates a live link not with the HTTP but with the topic/description of the URL. Copy/Paste this live/link, blue, URL topic into your

'Pages document.

By adding #t=3m13s to the URL, after the video ID and before &share=copy, the link automatically triggers playback to begin three minutes and thirteen seconds into the video.

You can click the link button in the upper right corner of the edit page to copy the link to your video and share it with others. If you share the link via social or embed the video, you would need to provide the password to your recipients directly.

If your videos aren't embedded with the correct thumbnail or title on sites like Facebook or Twitter, it's likely that these sites cached an earlier version of your video. To re-cache your video, run its URL through Facebook's link debugger or Twitter's card validator, wait for an hour, then give your post another try. Please note that using these debugger tools will not retroactively fix any videos posted previously.

You can insert links (hyperlinks) in blog posts, pages, product descriptions, and collection descriptions with the rich text editor. You can add links that direct customers to pages within your Shopify online store and to other websites. You can also add links that open email messages or make phone calls, to help customers contact you.

To link to a specific page of your online store, such as a collection or product page, use the URL format /page-type/page-handle. For example, to link to a collection you've created called Summer Collection, use the URL /collections/summer-collection.

Make your video more engaging by adding a survey, quiz, or poll using Microsoft Forms. You can add forms anywhere in videos you own, view responses, and share a summary link that shows answers and scores in Microsoft Forms.

Compared to embedding a video directly into a PowerPoint, linking to a file stored on your PC or Mac keeps the file size of your presentation smaller. The downside is that links break and videos get deleted from computers.

For the video to play in your PowerPoint, an actual copy of the linked video must be stored on your computer. If you choose this option, keep the video itself in the same folder as the PowerPoint presentation. When you send the PowerPoint to someone else, be sure to send the linked video as well.

Once the instructor has graded your submission, the Grades link in Course Navigation displays a grading indicator. You can also see details about your assignment and links to additional feedback in your Grades page.

With embedded videos, the video is saved directly with your presentation, greatly increasing the size of your PowerPoint file. A linked video does not appear directly as a video file in your PowerPoint presentation and thus does not require extra storage space

You can add videos to your site by uploading it directly, adding a URL, or pasting embed code. Usually, uploading or using the video URL is more convenient, while embed code offers more advanced display options.

If you'd like to host your videos outside of Squarespace, you can embed videos from YouTube or Vimeo to your site by copying and pasting the video's URL into areas like backgrounds, course pages, video blocks, and videos pages.

You can upload the video to a video-sharing platform (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) and simply paste the video link on a board using the shortcuts Ctrl/Cmd+C/Ctrl/Cmd+V. The media will be displayed right on the board!

You can embed a media file in a rich text module by pasting the URL directly into the rich text editor. If you see an error message when adding your media file's URL, it's recommended to insert the embed code instead.

This article explains how to embed YouTube Shorts videos in a page or article using the iframe HTML tag. It provides steps to follow, such as going to the desired Shorts video, copying the video link from the address bar, clicking on Share and replacing "/shorts/" with "/embed/" in the URL. This will allow you to embed any YouTube Shorts in your page or article. e24fc04721
