So basically 'a friend' used this program way back in 2017 called popcorn time, shit program but it was the best 'they' could use at the time. 'They' uninstalled the program with add/remove but malwarebytes keeps blocking it trying to update, apparently it still exists in programfilesx86 but when you try to remove the folder (which only has a test file and the updater.exe) it says that it can't delete the files because the updater is in use.

Hi all. Just wanted to stop by and ask what movies are actually good on popcorn time, at the moment. I don't wanna step on anyone's toes here, but I think we all know that Netflix doesn't have the best reputation for "valuable" content. One accomplished director put it best when he said "Netflix isn't exactly high art".

Hey guys. 20 days ago i installed Popcorn time at my Laptop cause i wanted to watch some movies after work. Yesterday i thinked about a friends advice about being carefull with downloading in Germany and how expensive it can be so i checked about how Popcorn time works and i surprisingly found out it works with a kind of torrent system. In this 20 days i have watched about 10 movies (last one was Yesterday). How possible is it to have been detected? im only 4 months here and havent got thousands for paying that huge fines i have seen in the Internet.

Hey, Ive got the latest model fire tv stick and just installed various versions of popcorn time with no real success. It works completely fine on PC.

Ive attempted to use the mobile branch which causes the movies to load for approx 30min before it can play, the "normal" branch just states "no connection" whenever I try to use it.

Also, most of the time I read about VPN in r/PopCornTimeApp it is said that it's not mandatory. But if I can't watch anything without it, it becomes effectively mandatory... So maybe I'm not understanding something about it.

While playing with the Windows firewall blocking software based on network type (e.g. not allowing some stuff in public networks or specific IP ranges) I realized that it's not possible to block Popcorn Time.exe

I added a firewall rule (tried in both outgoing and incoming), added program %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Popcorn Time\node-webkit\Popcorn Time.exe and a block rule on all networks. Restarted it many times, it still works. I've checked the processes and Popcorn Time.exe is indeed the one transferring data, not some other which might have been launched.

Can anybody figure out how to add popcorn time to the synology NAS? I thought the answer lied in Plex (which I use, but I can't add the channel [legit or otherwise]). I have looked a lot into it, and since there's no .spk file made out of the .tar, and I don't want to do the ipkg thing.

It seems quite a lot of people would like to watch Popcorn Time using an external media player like VLC because of longer buffering time, the constant bothering of VPN service ads or occasional black screen issue. However, what makes many people confused is they cannot find an option to invoke VLC to play Popcorn Time. What's going on?

You know what, Popcorn Time is an open source project so that there are multiple folks available over the internet developed by different groups. Among them, the two most famous are "Popcorntime.sh" and "Time4popcorn (new domain: getpopcorntime.is)", and they both have acquired a large user base due to distinctive features. So actually, the former allows you to watch Popcorn Time in VLC conditionally, but it doesn't have the function with the latter at all. If you cannot see VLC option in "Popcorntime.sh" version, follow the steps below to fix the problem.

Whether you champion "Popcorntime.sh" or "Time4popcorn" version, you're able to stream Popcorn Time using VLC after you go through the aforementioned guide, though it's a bit troublesome for "Time4popcorn" version. The official of "Time4popcorn" claimed to add possibility to use external player years ago, but I haven't made it work so far. If there is any problem using the Popcorn Time, you can severally submit a ticket on the official forum.

This time it's a post from Ellen Pao (u/ekjp) that falls under the spotlight. The divisive Pao had been CEO of Reddit for eight months at the time of the incident. Many believed her to be responsible for forcing Taylor out.

The reason? Disgust at EA's decision to lock Luke and Vader behind 40 hours of game time in Star Wars: Battlefront II. If you wanted to unlock them sooner, you had to get your wallet out---despite the Deluxe version of the game costing $80.

There's nothing quite like seeing a film in the movie theater. The lights are off, the smell of popcorn fills the air, and the action pulls viewers into the screen. There are those movies that are so good, fans flock to the theater to see them again and again and again. A conversation unfolded over at r/movies about which flicks people saw in theaters more than twice.

Reddit user Dick_Sizzle wrote, "I saw Wayne's World over 10 times. I had a Wayne's World hat and a Wayne's World T-shirt. I was an impossible f**king dork." Another user AltimoDomino79 said, "Wayne's World is the most packed I have ever seen a theater. They reached maximum capacity and had to stop selling tickets."

"I was part of the live cast doing Rocky Horror Picture Show for the better part of a decade," photoguy423 wrote. "I might have watched the movie a few times while it was happening." User Chickens1 shared their experience with the film, writing, "Rocky Horror. Over 50." Redditors agree that this classic is so rewatchable.

PhoenixFoundation said about the film, "Mad Max: Fury Road 10 times...felt like I was getting off a ride and running into line to get on again." User FatCobraX replied, "Watched it twice. Once with buddies, and then I thought - I gotta watch this with my mom." It's considered to be one of the must-see female-led action movies of the modern era.

Reddit user SelectInsurance2000 said they saw the movie 16 times in the theater. "Why? Every new viewing provided me with something I had not noticed before. I would watch the other actors in a scene more closely, also watched what was happening in the background, continuity errors, things you can't possibly see or sometimes hear with a single viewing or even a second viewing."

Gears_and_Bears joined the conversation on Reddit, writing, "Jurassic Park could be as high as 50 times. We'd spend the entire weekend at the Dollar Theaters sneaking from one showing to the next. I even took my 5-year-old to the drive-in during COVID to see it." Now that's dedication!

ZMizenZ wrote on Reddit, "Most recently, Top Gun: Maverick - went once, it blew my socks off, so I made an effort to see it at IMAX." User ACFrijolero replied, "I saw this one three times, I don't have an IMAX theater, so I can't imagine what that must have been like!"

User mahdroo agreed with others who rewatched this film and said over on Reddit, "Yes. Me too. Infinity War blew me away. I couldn't get over it. But Endgame blew my mind and I think I saw it 9 times. 3-4 the first week, the then 9th was when they released it for a night or something. Just the audience going wild when Cap gets the hammer. Never felt anything like that in a movie ever. Every time."

MrRourkeYourHost shared how many times they viewed the film in the theater. "I think I hit 13 in total in 77-79. Younger people might think it's ridiculous considering it was a theater or nothing, we had better see it then or risk never seeing it again. There were no VHS stores, no HBO yet, nothing." They went on to add that mall and adjoining theaters were the babysitters of the 70s and 80s.

Reddit user alxcia wrote, "I saw Matrix 1,2, and 3 more than a dozen times each in the theater." There's a reason these films are considered modern classics and the original Matrix is one of the best sci-fi movies to go into blind, according to Reddit. The less viewers know going in, the better.

Reddit use thenameclicks said about the film, "The Dark Knight (4 times). I couldn't get enough of it when it came out in 2008. The opening night was one of the greatest cinematic moments of my life." It's one of those movies that still holds up all these years later and is worth a watch. e24fc04721
