Combining Monsters too early in the game is NOT recommended. All Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legend & Ancient Monsters can be picked up via quests & at a much better rate than what you would spend money & jewels on to combine them for. Once you have a good pool of Ancient Monsters, then moving on to combine for higher levels is the best way to start.
